Instrument Technology was Green before Green was cool.

Free or public education is not free if you don’t have at least a 70% job placement rate earning an entry level living wage of over $14.00 an hour or $40,000 a year including overtime.  Other than medical training most public education have an audited job placement rate of less than 40%.

CIT Award winner for job placement of over 80% for the last five years. This year we have had an audited placement rate of over 86%. At CIT we have had an audited placement of over 70% for the last 25 years. We are not a fly by night organization. We will be here when you need us.

More important than placement rates 90% of CIT graduates earn over $40,000 including overtime. Before starting or signing up with any public, ROP, city, community, state or private college course or training ask for and review the BPPE required Two-Year Course Performance Fact Sheet (click for sample). All California Schools are required to give their students a Two-Year Course Performance Fact Sheet upon enrollment.

Additionally, you should ask these questions:

      Do Homeland Security rules affect job ?

      What is the job placement rate for the training facility?                   

      What percent of grads had job offers?                              

      What percent of grads earn over $40,000 with overtime?   

California State Law on professional due diligence requires any training you are sent or referred to has at least a 2 year, 70% job placement rate earning an entry level living wage of over $14.00 an hour or $40,000 a year.

Before starting or signing up with any public, ROP, adult education, city, community, state or private college courses or training, you should ask for and review the BPPE required Two-Year Course Performance Fact Sheet (click for sample). All California Schools are required to give their students a Two-Year Course Performance Fact Sheet before enrollment. What is important about the fact sheet is what percentage of the graduates actually went to work without the use of federal subsidized wages and what percentage earned over $40,000 after the federal subsidized wages cease.

Also important and over looked by the fact sheets, are the percentage of workers that lose their jobs or are not working full time within 60 days after internship, union apprenticeship or subsidized wages have stopped. What percentage are even still working, let alone still earning over $40,000 including overtime, after the federal, state, or union funding of their subsidized wages cease.
