Do I qualify for your Green Job Programs? Normally, if you have a clean criminal record and a reasonable driving record and can pass a simple 12 min., entrance exam, have good hand-eye coordination you have a very good chance of being accepted. However, each individual case is judged independently. 2. How long is the course? There are many Hands-On Green Job courses that vary in length from 8 weeks to 7 months. Select a class and see what the length is. 3. How much does the course cost? Again, each course is priced separately. Check each class or contact the college directly for precise information. 85% of CIT students qualify to Train and Certify at little or no cost. Most Chapter 31 Veterans normally qualify for CIT classes at no cost to the Veteran. 4. Do you assist me in finding a Green Job when I graduate? YES! Absolutely! CIT has a verified job placement rate of 86% for this last year. Award winning CIT has over 80% job placement during the last 5 years! 5. Do Homeland Security rules affect job ? 7. What percent of grads had job offers? CIT 100% 8. What percent of grads earn over $40,000 with overtime? CIT 90% Before starting or signing up with any public, ROP, city, community, state or private college course or job training ask for their two year audited job placement rate in writing, verifying an over 70% job placement rate. Councilors due diligence requires any training you are sent or referred to has at least a 2 year 70% job placement rate.
