Course objective is to provide the Trucking/Transportation industry with safe, professionally
trained individuals, with knowledge of the latest skills, attitudes and qualifications that
will be conducive to a long,lasting, profitable and safety oriented employer/employee
relationship. Completion of our truck and commercial driving course will
produce well cross-trained, skilled, safe and proud drivers with the professional attitude
necessary to be successful in their chosen career as professional drivers, C.I.T.
Certified Truck Driver Operator can make more money by doubling as a Heavy Equipment and/or Fork
Lift Operator Driver loading freight and filling the truck they drive,
CIT Truck Driver Operators are taught safe operations of fork lift.
Also taught how to do chains of custody for taking HAZ samples, testing spills and
clean-ups during excavation and loading Haz trucks. Perform on-site continuous testing
for E.P.A. HAZ Compliance. The combination of Hands on, audio and
/or video cassette lectures provides a good understanding of the subjects
Certified Truck Driving Operator may receive Five OSHA Certificates
(40 hr Hazwoper, 8 hr Supervisor Hazwoper, 8 hr Cometent Person, 8 hr Confine Space, 8 hr Forklift)
plus Class A or B Operators License with Haz Certification to help in
obtaining a better entry level job. Most operator drivers start their entry level jobs as full
time drivers, who also fill in as heavy equipment drivers when
someone is sick, won't work weekends, or is off on vacation.
